THE
LOCATION -
Elwes Building, Park Campus, University of Gloucestershire, Cheltenham
GL50 2RH The event will be held in one of the University's most prestigious
campus buildings, which aside from the lecturing, has been used on many
occasions to host exhibitions, conferences and concerts. Directions to
the campus are detailed below.
Travelling to Park Campus From the A40 or A436 (South East)
Approaching Cheltenham on the A40, continue along A40 following signs
for the M5. Turn left signposted M5, Gloucester and Stroud into Sandford
Mill Road. At the T-junction turn left, signposted Gloucester and M5,
continue over first mini roundabout and turn right at the second mini
roundabout into Thirlestaine Road. At traffic lights go straight on into
Suffolk Road. At next traffic lights turn left, signposted University
of Gloucestershire Park Campus, into Park Place. Following the signs to
the University, turn right into The Park and follow road round to the
main car park, signposted University of Gloucestershire, Park Campus.
From M5 Junction 11
Leave the motorway at Junction 11 and join the dual carriageway to Cheltenham.
Take the third exit at the next roundabout (stay on A40) past GCHQ. Take
second exit (A40 to Oxford) at next roundabout into 40mph limit. Follow
the road straight through two sets of traffic lights. At the third set
of traffic lights move into the right-hand lane. Follow the road round
to the right and take the first exit left and then go immediately right
into St Stephens Road. Follow the road to the end and turn right for main
car park. The entrance to the main car park is approximately 500 yards
on your left.
From
the M5 (North, South or West) Junction 11A
Leave the M5 at junction 11A following the signs to the A417 Cirencester.
Take the first exit from the A417 dual carriageway and turn left at the
roundabout on to the A46 sign posted Shurdington/ Cheltenham. Follow this
road straight through for about 3 miles. At the first set of traffic lights,
by the Moorend Park Hotel, turn left. At the mini roundabout turn left.
The entrance to the Park Campus car park is about 450 yards on the right.
From the M4 & Swindon
At the Air Balloon Pub roundabout on the A417 take the second exit left,
then the immediate next left sign posted to Cheltenham. Keep on this road,
down Leckhampton hill. Note change of speed limit. Carry on to the bottom
of the hill and at the Norwood Arms roundabout take the first exit left.
Follow the road to the next set of traffic lights and turn right at the
Moorend Park Hotel. At mini roundabout turn left and the entrance to the
Park Campus car park is about 450 yards on the right.

conference.
